How Slavia Pojišťovna’s Legal Team Started Using AI in Practice

Slavia Pojišťovna partnered with AgiLawyer to help its in-house legal team move beyond theory and start using AI tools in everyday legal work. Through hands-on training focused on Microsoft Copilot and AI agents, the team explored practical ways to streamline document workflows, legal research, and regulatory monitoring.

Slavia Pojišťovna, one of the established insurance companies on the Czech market, approached AgiLawyer with the goal of preparing a practical AI training program for its in-house legal team. The objective was clear: equip lawyers with the skills needed to meaningfully integrate AI tools — specifically Microsoft Copilot — into their daily work.

What We Delivered

The training combined two key areas. First, we focused on the practical use of Copilot within an in-house legal environment — including document drafting and review, summarization of regulatory materials, and streamlining routine legal research. In the second part, we introduced the team to AI agents and demonstrated how autonomous tools can support multi-step workflows and the monitoring of regulatory changes.

Why It Matters

It is encouraging to see a major insurance company taking a structured approach to AI adoption in the legal field. The engagement and openness of the team confirmed that the legal profession is ready for this shift — and that practical training built around concrete use cases is the right path forward.
